Our Company History - Hypernetics

Since 1972, Hypernetics – A division of Plaintree Systems Inc. has been designing, engineering and manufacturing critical components for the commercial aerospace and defense markets. Originally supporting OEMs with electromagnetic indicators used in aircraft flight instrumentation systems, Hypernetics has expanded its product line to include wheel speed tachometers, permanent magnet alternators and proximity sensors.

Hypernetics electromagnetic indicators, wheel speed tachometers and proximity sensors can be found on many of the world’s leading general aviation and commercial aircraft manufacturer’s programs as well as other rotorcraft, unmanned aerial vehicle platforms and military programs. Our products perform optimally from environmentally controlled cabin conditions to the harshest conditions found in engine and landing gear applications.

Headquartered in Arnprior, Ontario Canada just outside of the Nation’s Capital (Ottawa), Hypernetics is strategically located just 250 KM west of one of the world’s largest aerospace clusters (Montréal, Québec) and supports OEMs, systems integrators and repair stations worldwide with products.
